The aim of this lesson is to introduce pupils to the process involved in turning fossil fuels into electricity.
Pupils will also look at how the use of electricity has increased over the past few decades and at the effects this might have on our environment.
This lesson has been designed as the first in a series of 8 lessons aimed at preparing pupils for an energy audit of their schools.
