Awareness raising campaign

During this lesson 11 to 14 year old pupils will use the findings of their habits check investigations to help them to focus an awareness-raising campaign on the most persistent bad habits in the school.

The aim of the awareness-raising campaign is to reduce the amount of energy being wasted in the school, and in so doing, reduce the school's carbon footprint and save the school money on its energy bills.

Learning objectives

  • To identify the most persistent energy wasting habits in the school.
  • To organise and focus an awareness raising campaign on the worst offending areas.
