Renewable and non-renewable energy

This lesson is one in a series that prepares students for an energy audit of their school.

During this lesson students begin to explore different sources of energy and investigate the difference between renewable and non-renewable forms.

Learning objectives

To understand the difference between renewable and non-renewable energy.
To identify and define primary sources of renewable and non-renewable energy.
To understand how fossil fuels were formed.
