KS3/S1-3 Assembly Plan

This Assembly is to introduce the themes that Generation Green explores: how we use energy, how we waste it, and how we must find new and better ways to make and use energy in the future. It can also be used at the end of an awareness-raising campaign, to help students to think beyond immediate energy-saving actions, to the wider role they can play in determining energy policy and provision in the future.

The Assembly’s core message is that changing how we use energy, and how we source it, is the responsibility of everyone, including them. The Assembly introduces the issues, highlights the important questions, and helps students to focus on how they can play their part. Each slide comes with presenter’s notes to help you, and suggested questions to maximise students’ participation and opportunities for reflection.
