May I present to you... your green voice for 2009.
These are the most passionate and eco-friendly 7-14 year olds I've ever seen. They're about to put their heads together in some important eco-discussions, but before they do, let's get to know them...
Bethany wants put her knowledge to good use in the think tank to stop the ice-caps melting and prevent any more animals becoming extinct.
Jayde loves nature and is a Junior Ranger at her local nature reserve, Marton Mere. She has planted trees, examines pond life and takes part in nature surveys.
Already a member of her school's Eco Club, Lucy was recently asked to talk about her school's green initiatives on her local radio station.
Tristan's keen to ask lots of questions during the workshops to find out more about the issues affecting our planet, particularly climate change.
Joe has helped to design and plant some of the school's garden, researching which plants would attract different species of animals and insects.
Daniel is passionate about having his voice heard, and is keen to speak up on behalf of his peers about environmental issues.
Andrea makes an effort around the home, making sure that unused plug sockets are switched off and she is 'always nagging' her mum to turn the heating off.
William even encouraged his gran and granddad to install solar panels on their roof - they now generate all their own hot water.
Naomi loves thinking up ideas to help make our world a greener place.
At school, Lewis has been working on a renewable energy project and has been speaking to his parents as well as members of his local council about these.
