Workshop 1: Recycling - Generation Green

Being green is about a lot more than recycling your bottles, plastics, aluminium and paper – but it's a great place to start and the first workshop for our green Think Tankers.

Create more recycling facilities in city centres, cinemas, theme parks and fast food restaurants
Enable free recycling collections from all schools
Make supermarkets just use PET or HDEC plastics
Educate communities on the different types of plastics and the recycling process
Set targets and give rewards for offices that recycle things like printer cartridges
Use white boards instead of paper
Encourage more local green groups, “if we had one in our area, I’d go…”
