This lesson looks at fossil fuels in more depth, and more specifically how coal is formed over a long period of time. Renewable and non-renewable energy sources are also explored within this lesson plan, encouraging pupils to understand that our non-renewable energy sources are running out. This lesson can be used on its own or as part of a series of related lessons.
