Students to discuss what sort of structure would keep an animal hibernating safe and what sort of things that they could use to make a small structure waterproof and sturdy. Students to then have a go at building a hibernating house for animals themselves including the things we have talked about. The studentscan photograph and check how waterproof it is by pooring water over the top.
