The Power of the Wind

This lesson introduces pupils to the concept of wind power as a renewable source of energy. Pupils will see how the energy of the wind can spin a windmill. Some pupils will relate this to the wider concept of electricity generation from wind turbines. This lesson can be used on its own or as part of a series of 5 related lessons – Climate Change, The Electricity Journey, The Power of the Sun, and Water Power.
