This lesson introduces pupils to the concept of reducing, reusing and recycling. The lesson teaches pupils how important it is to reduce the amount we throw away, recycle where possible, and make new things out of old. This is the first of two lessons, the second of which provides instructions for making a carrier bag dispenser out of old clothing.
